Darkbird couldn’t believe he had fallen for such a simple trap. HE had followed the clues that led him to Doctor Deadly without once considering those clues had been planted by the evil Doctor himself
The XXXX gas had worked beautifully for Doctor Deadly’s plans. Dark Bird lay XXXX long enough for the hench men to bind up the helpless super hero with rope. Dark bird awoke just in time to feel it as they shoved a cleave gag between his lips.
“Mmmmmpph!”, Darkbird mumbled at his arch nemesis.
“Ahh Darkbird. Nice to see you awake.” The Doctor said gloating over his bound and gagged prisoner. “I wouldn’t want you to miss the fun as the city tears down this condemned building with a wrecking ball! Bawhahahaha!”
Darkbird was both aghast and impressed by the plan. Doctor Deadly always liked being a traditionalist. He had even included the evil laugh. A lot of supervillians these days ignored the vil laugh and that was about standards!
The henchmen finished tying up Darkbird’s feet. Outside Darkbird could hear the rumbling of the wrecking crew’s vehicle.
“Ta-ta Dark Bird. Dont‘ go all to pieces!”
Desperately Darkbird struggled against his bonds before it was too late.
