It had been a harrowing escape. The guards had never suspected that Bernard and his cell mate Mike had been digging their way to the old subway tunnel right underneath the prison. No one knew it was there. Bernard had only known it was there because he used to date an urban archaeologist.

Now that they were out, both decided to split up.

Now Bernard had to find some clothes to replace the obvious prison uniform he was wearing. He could also use a place to rest up and hide until the heat died down a bit.

A warehouse up ahead seemed promising. It looked abandoned. Maybe Bernard would be able to find some clothes or even money.

Bernard found what looked like a door that had been broken open and then set back in place. Probably some homeless guy or squatters. Still, from the look of things , no one like that was likely to turn hims him in. The distant sound of a police siren made up Bernard’s mind. He liked hsi chances in the ware house better then outside all exposed.

“MmmmmPhhh!”, Mike groaned as a hand went over his mouth. Powerful hands wrenched bernard’s arms behind his back.

“What do we have here?”, Bernard’s captor whispered ton Bernard’s ear.

...... “Comfy?”, Bernard’s XXXX asked. Not that Bernard could answer. The think gag in his mouth kept him pretty silent. If he hadn’t been gagged, Bernard would have mentioned that the ropes binding his hands behind his back were too tight, the same ropes around his chest too constricting.

Instead he just slumped down to his knees.

“”Aww, getting tired so soon? We’ve barely beXXXX!”, The man hoisted Bernard up his feet, which were then tied with even more rope.

Bernard was good and caught. He knew it. The police and a nice cozy cell were sounding real nice to Bernard now.
