After some deep conversation we decided to call it quits. This seemed like a logical and civil ending, but it turned out to be all out war. We began fight over what belonged to whom. After years of living together we were hell bent on staking claim to everything we thought belonged to us. The focus of our fight was an antique vase we had bought together when we were together. It was worth quite a bit of money and we both adored it. After several weeks on settling on all the other stuff the vase seemed to be a hot point for both us. Neither of us was willing to budge, and it seemed it would never end. Finally, we decided to take it to court. The court was on my side that day, and I was elated at my victory over the man I once loved.I spent the day apartment hunting and licking my wounds when I ran into a friend of Jakes on the street.
