It was Tuesday night and that meant Poker night for Dave and Ted. Unfortunately their usual buddies couldn’t come. Two for poker seemed kind of lame.
“Don't’ worry. I asked this guy from work. His name is Steve “Ted said.
“Is he any good?”, Dave asked.
“ I don’t think he’s ever played. And to be honest, while cute he’s none to bright. At office we can get him to do anything.”
“So I guess that means...”
“We play for money tonight.” Ted finished Dave’s sentence. They had a real rube and they wouldn’t pass this chance up.
A few hours into the game, however, it became clear that Ted had drastically underestimated Steve’s intelligence. He didn’t even seem to know what game he was playing despite having the rules explained to him repeatedly.
It finally came to a head when all three showed their cards.
“Uno!” Steve yelled as he threw down his hand, confident that that his utterly worthless hand was a winner.
“Oh for Christ’s sake! For the last time, we are not playing Uno!”, Dave said exasperated.
“You mean I didn’t win?”, Steve sounded hurt.
“No. And now it’s time for you too pay up!”, Ted said. The game had not been nearly as enjoyable as he had hoped. At least he would get a little dough.
“Pay up? , “Steve said confused.
“Yes pay up.” Said Dave annoyed. “You originally had 300 dollars worth of chips, remember? We agreed the blue chips were worth 25 each.
“I don't’ recall that. I just grabbed the blue ones because I like the colour. I don’t have any money.”
Both Ted and Dave looked at Steve incredulously.
“What ?”, Ted exclaimed.
“I sent it all to this guy in Nigeria. But don't’ worry, he said he would send it back plus interest!”
“Oh that is IT!”, Dave yelled and without another word, both men fell upon the hapless Steve. Though he was a big guy, Steve was caught unawares and was soon helplessly in the grip of the two angry men.
“Hey! Mmmpph!”, Was all steve got out before Dave’s hand clamped firmly over his mouth. Dave had had enough of Steve talking for a while.
“What are we going to do with him?” Ted asked as he held the struggling Steve’s arms behind his back.
“We teach him a lesson. Hold him. I’ll get the rope.
Steve did not like the sound of that. Unfortunately he could do little but struggle and moan as clothesline was used to bind his feet and then his hands.
“C’mon guys! Don't’ ..ha! Hahahahahahahahahaha!” Steve let out a long raucous laugh as his feet were tied up. Both Ted and Dave smiled. Neither had known that Steve was so ticklish. They might be able to pay off Steve’s debt after all.
Ted handed Dave a roll of tape. “Gag his mouth.”
“Mmmph!”, Steve moaned a strip of tape was plastered over his mouth.
Soon Steve was helplessly bound and gagged on the couch. But his torment was only beginning as Dave and Ted got their revenge by tickling their captive. Steve was soon breathless, panting and begging through his gag in between the uncontrollable laughter.
Eventually the men tired of their sport and stopped.
“So what do we do now?”, Ted asked.
“Lets get back to the game. He can stay tied up a while longer, all night maybe until he’s paid off his debt to us. I am sure we can figure something to do with a reasonably cute guy all tied up and gagged. Meanwhile, lets play some more.”
Steve let out a muffled groan of despair.
Steve was put into a tight hog tie and left ont he couch while Ted and Dave continued their game.
